So we had the pleasure of photographing a lovely dog a few months ago. Eddy has had THE most incredible journey, and we asked his owner, Katie, to help us write this blog about him!

‘Six years ago, I welcomed a very special little beagle into my life.
Edward’s story didn’t begin with love and comfort. He was found living on the streets of China, badly burned and in desperate need of help. Thankfully, kind-hearted people at a local veterinary centre refused to give up on him. Through their links with an incredible rescue centre in Langport, https://rushtondogrescue.co.uk/, they were able to get Edward the treatment he so desperately needed.
The rescue centre funded his veterinary care, arranged for him to fly all the way from China, and welcomed him with open arms. They nursed him back to health with endless patience, kindness and love until he was finally ready to find a forever home.
That home became mine in 2020.
To look at Edward today, you’d never believe the journey he’s been on. He’s the sweetest, most affectionate, gentle soul who has brought so much laughter, comfort, and unconditional love into my life. If anything, he’s the one who rescued me.
For my 50th birthday, I was given the most wonderful gift: a photoshoot with Timeless Images. There was never any doubt that Edward had to be part of it. The photographs captured exactly what he means to me, and one of my greatest joys was being able to send one of those images back to the veterinary team in China who first saved his life. I hope they can see just how loved he is and what an incredible difference their compassion has made.
To everyone involved in Edward’s journey—from the people who picked him up off the streets, to the vets who treated him, the rescue centre that gave him a second chance, and Timeless Images for capturing these precious memories—thank you.
